The Australian Graduate School of Engineering was established by the ÑÇÃÀÆåÅÆ Faculty of Engineering to redefine the future of postgraduate education and lifelong learning for engineers. The AGSE builds upon the faculty’s strong reputation and track record for excellence – ÑÇÃÀÆåÅÆ Engineering is consistently ranked #1 in Australia and among the top 50 engineering faculties in the world.

Meet our team

Megan Lord is the Academic Director of the AGSE Industry PhD and Masters Programs and Professor of Biomedical Engineering at ÑÇÃÀÆåÅÆ.

Megan attained a Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering, Master of Biomedical Engineering and First-class Honours degree in Chemical Engineering from ÑÇÃÀÆåÅÆ. She is a recipient of a prestigious Australian Research Council Future Fellowship (2023- 2026) and internationally recognised in the field of biomaterials.

She serves on the Standards Australia Committee HE-030 Biological and Clinical Evaluation of Medical Devices that reviews and ratifies ISO 10993 and TC 194 and holds executive positions on national and international professional societies.

Natalia Giraldo, Head of Operations and Delivery, AGSE.

Natalia is a high performing operations manager with large experience in the education and technology industry. Specialised in delivering on business ’s priorities such as customer service, brand loyalty, sales targets and learning solutions. Highly focused on team development and community building with a passion for design and problem solving. Skilled in strategic planning, management, teamwork, and project management. Strong professional education with a Master's degree focused in Architecture and urban design from Ecole Nationale d’architecture Paris Belleville. 

For the past three years Natalia has been working in the growing space of Micro credentialling at ÑÇÃÀÆåÅÆ.  She managed the establishment of the Australia Graduate School of Engineering at ÑÇÃÀÆåÅÆ and has developed its current portfolio currently hosting over 10 B2C programs.

Anneli Strutt, Business Manager, AGSE Industry PhD Program.

Anneli joined the AGSE from the ÑÇÃÀÆåÅÆ Graduate Research School. Combining her Humanities background with over a decade of experience in research, project, and candidature management, Anneli is responsible for running the day-to-day operations of the Industry PhD Program.

As first point of contact for the program, Anneli welcomes enquiries and enjoys facilitating productive collaborations between students, academics and industry partners.

Jimmy Yau, Client Engagement Coordinator.

With extensive experience in marketing across the real estate, finance, architecture, and SaaS space, he brings a well-rounded, results-driven approach to his work. Passionate about innovation and lifelong learning, he leverages data-driven strategies to connect professionals with high-quality educational opportunities, contributing to AGSE’s mission of advancing engineering education in Australia.​

In his role, Jimmy plays a key part in driving enrolments and expanding the reach of AGSE’s micro-credential programs. With a strong focus on strategic marketing and client engagement, he collaborates with industry professionals and academic leaders to ensure AGSE’s courses align with the evolving needs of engineers seeking professional development. His work helps bridge the gap between education and industry, fostering growth and innovation in engineering.​
