A key priority is adopting scientific knowledge and emerging technologies from other disciplines and tailoring them to these sectors.

This theme focuses on sustainable exploration, extraction and processing of strategic and critical minerals (strategic minerals). Specific focuses are advanced geophysical and geochemical methods for orebody mapping and modelling to improve orebody knowledge, minimising environmental impact.
