I am passionate about the marine environment, I have听strong research听background in marine microbiology and ecology. The projects I am involved in, include the following activities:

  • Bacterial-seaweeds interactions
  • The ecological role of antibiotic producing bacteria
  • Use of bioinformatic tools and molecular approaches for the analysis of microbial communities associates with marine samples听
  • Engineering of听Synechococcus elongatus PCC 7942
  • Supervise PhD students,听assisting during experimental design,听fieldwork and laboratory activities
