ÑÇÃÀÆåÅÆ graduation ceremonies are held multiple times each year, providing graduates the opportunity to celebrate their academic achievements. Allocations are based on conferral dates, ensuring students are included in the relevant ceremony period without the need for anÌýExpression of Interest.
ÑÇÃÀÆåÅÆ graduation ceremonies are scheduled as below.ÌýPlease note that these proposed dates are subject to change.

Important notes
Before making travel arrangements for your graduation ceremony, ensure that you:
- Have been allocated to a ceremony period
- Confirm your attendance through by changing your attendance type to ‘Attending’
- Pay your graduation fee by the deadline.
If you fail to confirm attendance or pay the fee on time, your ceremony allocation may change. For example, if you miss the deadline for March, you may need to express interest in attending a later ceremony, such as in August or December.
Is your family applying for a visa to attend your ceremony?
If your family members are in the process of applying for an Australian visa to attend your graduation ceremony, you may use your Award & Enrolment Statement as a supporting document for their application as proof of your program completion. This will go along with your invitation letter and a copy of your ceremony allocation email. For more information on visa applications, visit the .ÌýÌý

If you have a conferral date between 21 November 2024 and 30 January 2025 (majority of T3 2024 completers), you do not need to submit anÌýExpression of InterestÌýas you will be automatically invited to this ceremony period.

We’re here to help you cross the stage! If you can’t attend your allocated ceremony date and time but would still like to attend a ceremony, please email graduations@unsw.edu.au. We will do our best to find you a spot in another ceremony during the week based on availability.

If you’ve already confirmed your attendance and paid your graduation fee but can no longer attend, please email graduations@unsw.edu.au as soon as possible and we will let you know your options.

Students are allocated to a ceremony based on their program/faculty, as well as ceremony capacity. Knowing how many students plan to attend helps us to manage capacity effectively and ensure we can best accommodate graduates and their guests to ensure a smooth and enjoyable graduation experience.
