The ÑÇÃÀÆåÅÆ Community Plus Scholarship is designed to support students from low socioeconomic backgrounds who are commencing full-time undergraduate studies at ÑÇÃÀÆåÅÆ. The scholarship covers accommodation fees for ÑÇÃÀÆåÅÆ-operated on-campus accommodation, helping to alleviate the financial burden of living expenses. This initiative aims to foster an inclusive university environment by providing equitable access to campus life.Â
To be eligible, applicants must apply through the Gateway Admissions Pathway (GAP) and demonstrate that they come from a low-socioeconomic status area, as determined by SEIFA indexes. Successful candidates will receive a conditional scholarship offer following the release of GAP offers in September and December 2024. Additionally, recipients will participate in a placement call with ÑÇÃÀÆåÅÆ Accommodation to determine the most suitable on-campus housing option. This scholarship underscores ÑÇÃÀÆåÅÆ's commitment to supporting students from diverse backgrounds in achieving their academic goals.
The Community Plus Scholarship is the reason I’m at ÑÇÃÀÆåÅÆ. Without it, studying and living in Sydney wouldn’t have been possible. It’s lifted so much pressure and let me focus on my studies, college and sport. The community, culture, and education here are exactly what I had hoped for!
